Our History
In 1931, Mr. Brice started his company and it was called Brice Business Forms and Systems, INC. It was set up as a printing distributorship where the items sold were primarily stationery, business cards, and checks to companies in the city of St. Louis.
As Mr. Brice was nearing the age of retirement, he was ready to sell his business to an individual and that someone ended up being my father Nicholas George. In 1965, my dad finalized the deal with Mr. Brice and changed the name of the company to be Missouri Business Forms.
MBF at the time was primarily a print distributorship, evolving to a top-rated print consulting company offering many solutions and cost cutting ideas for the client. Since joining my father in 1991, and learning this business from the ground up, I have seen many changes in our industry.
It was always my goal to stay on top of the latest trends in the printing industry, as well as the most efficient ways to purchase print for our clients. My father put his heart and soul into this company and worked all the way until he turned 80 years old.
Passing on the business to me has been a real blessing over the years, not to mention the wealth of knowledge I received from my dad, has been irreplaceable! I am now able to pass along the same knowledge to my son making this a 3rd generation business.
With the passing of my father in 2015, a portion of Missouri Business Forms was sold. In 2017, MBF PrintGroup was born. I am proud to carry on the tradition, that began in 1931, and to pass the torch to the third generation of the George family. We look forward to continuing excellent service for all of our client’s needs.
